Description
🪖⚡ Iron Maiden’s undead mascot marches again!
A full 3D-printable version of Eddie the Trooper — Iron Maiden’s battle-scarred icon, frozen mid-charge with sword raised and flag torn by war. Standing 20 cm tall (from base to flag tip), this model captures every fold, strap and snarl with razor-sharp definition. 🤘
Printed in PLA+ 2.0 at 0.16 mm layer height, it comes out unbelievably clean — crisp edges, no warping, and barely any visible layer lines. The model is positioned angled on the build plate, reducing overhangs and minimizing the need for supports on the front side. The few supports that are required come off easily and leave a smooth surface behind.
Even unpainted, it already looks like a collector-grade resin statue — but paint it, and it absolutely comes alive.
Prime in grey or neutral. Paint the uniform deep red and navy blue, brown accents on the leather straps. beige for skin, dirty white for teeth and eyes, then finish with a thin black wash to bring out the wrinkles and rage. 🩸
Even raw in white PLA+, this piece already screams metal legend. Paint it and it turns into a miniature album cover come to life.
