Description
The BBX16 PA Bolter can be operated in two different ways:
Loading sequence:
Insert ammo → pull the handle back → press the trigger downwards (not backwards!) → fire!
And: please don’t look down the barrel from now on. 😉
The BBX16 PA Bolter offers multiple options for mixing and matching attachments:
Base: PA Bolter – BBX16
Fixed & modular parts:
Case for the base version + long shoulder stock
All together that’s over 1000 possible combinations to build your own unique shooter configuration.
Customize it: Two of the parts feature flat areas for customization 👍 import your own SVGs, text, or numbers directly in Bambu Studio to give your shooter your personal touch.
Before jumping into the full BBX16 PA Bolter build, I highly recommend running a quick Tolerance Test first! especially if you’re using PETG or a new filament spool.
Even minimal moisture can slightly affect dimensional accuracy and make the internal parts fit too tight or not at all.
This short test helps you check if your filament is ready and ensures smooth, functional parts…. before wasting time or material.
This model is a low-power mechanical toy launcher.
Do not aim or shoot at people, animals, faces, eyes, windows, vehicles, or fragile objects. Even if the impact may seem minor, a small projectile can still cause injury, especially if it hits the eye. Wearing eye protection is strongly recommended.
This model includes constructive safety limitations. The mechanism, tolerances, and material strength are designed for the intended low-power toy function at the original scale.
Scaling, reinforcing, or modifying the model may cause malfunctions, breakage, or unsafe behavior and is not supported.
This model is not a firearm, not a firearm part, and is not compatible with real firearms or real ammunition.
This time there’s only a video for the assembly guide.
Why? There’s one small but tricky step during assembly that’s hard to explain with pictures.
The video walks you through everything clearly and in real time… including the case build.
📹 Here’s the video showing the complete assembly of the shooter and the case:
When I had printed the first prototypes and the first one finally worked,
I instantly knew…. this thing was solid! ✔✔✔
Not too small, not too fragile! unlike my Secret Message Launcher V2
where the bolt had a bad habit of breaking. 😅
I’ve learned from those mistakes!
this model has the perfect size, is durable, and easy to maintain.
No glue needed! Everything connects through press-fits and filament pins that can be easily replaced.
Since I really love this design and it fits perfectly into the holiday season,
I wanted to create a true banger this time 👍😎
a project you can proudly put under the Christmas tree. 🎄
Many people around me still have no idea what 3D printing is capable of nowadays,
and the BBX16 PA Bolter will be my proof this year! 😎
…And by the way, the “PA” stands for Pump Action…
I originally wanted to include a classic printed instruction sheet,
but there simply wasn’t any space left inside the case. 😅
So instead, I designed a panel for the inside of the lid,
featuring a QR code that links directly to my MakerWorld page ✔
allowing you to access information or updates anytime.
This lid panel is also included as a blank version in the print profile,
so you can add your own SVG or text engraving….
perfect if you’re planning to give the Bolter as a gift. 🎁
