Deeper Mount for Flytec V020 Bait Boat v2

A new version of the Deeper mount (PRO, PRO+ 2, CHIRP+ 2, CHIRP+ 3) for the Flytec V020 fishing boat. For this new version, we also designed a box for transportation and storage.

 

After the first version ( https://makerworld.com/en/models/1899301-deeper-mount-for-flytec-v020-bait-boat#profileId-2035276 ) we redesigned everything.

The mounting on the bait boat is done the same as in the first version but the rest of the parts can be quickly disassembled. The arms are a little longer and wider than in the previous version. The sonar is attached this time with two screws on the top. Compared to the previous version, now the sonar can be charged without having to be disassembled.

 

It will be mounted using three screws in the front of the boat.
The original screws will be replaced with ones of the same diameter, but with a length of up to 15 mm.
For mounting the other components, screws and nuts with a diameter of 5 mm will be used, the screws will be over 25 mm long.
The arms have been designed with a hexagonal slot for nuts on one side.

The sonar will be attached with two screws of 5 mm in diameter and 10 mm in length.

 

The following is required for assembly:
2x M5 x 10 mm for attaching the Deeper
4x M5 x 25 mm for mounting the arm
4x M5 self-locking nut

 

The entire assembly can be placed in the transport and storage box immediately after detaching from the bait boat. On the central part there is space to store spare 5mm screws.
A fixing piece will also be mounted in the middle. A 4mm screw 30mm long will be used for mounting. To tension the fixing piece, you will also need a spring with a diameter of up to 7 mm, 10-12mm long, on the inside of which the 4mm screw can easily fit (you can see the ones I used in one of the images).

There are also three small spaces in the box that can be used for the carrying bag, power cable, and power adapter.
