Description

This compact WLED light box is designed for an ESP32-C3 board and a 12-LED WS2812B ring.
It’s a clean and minimal enclosure that diffuses the light beautifully through the top cap, creating a soft and colorful glow.

Perfect for use as a desk lamp, mood light, or notification indicator, it connects easily via USB-C and runs WLED firmware for full control over colors, effects, and animations.

  • Fully compatible with WLED app or web interface

Printing Tips

  • The decorative body can be printed in PLA
  • The LED and ESP32-C3 support parts are recommended to be printed in PETG, for better heat resistance and durability

WLED Installation (Web Installer)

  1. Go to the official WLED Web Installer.
  2. Connect your ESP32-C3 via USB-C to your computer.
  3. Click “Install WLED”, then select your ESP32-C3 from the device list.
  4. Wait for the installation to complete (about 1 minute).
  5. Once installed, connect to the Wi-Fi network WLED-AP, open your browser and go to http://4.3.2.1.
  6. Configure your home Wi-Fi in the settings.
  7. In WLED, set the LED count to 12 and the data pin to GPIO4 (D4) (or your chosen pin).

ESP32-C3 Pin → LED Ring → Description
5 V  → 5 V → Power supply
GND → GND → Ground
GPIO3 (D3) → DIN → Data signal
