Description:
Roasted Fox is a traditional Slovenian board game for two players, where one takes the role of the fox and the other plays as the hunter with three pieces.
The hunter’s goal is to surround the fox so it can no longer move – at that moment, the hunter shouts: “You’re roasted!”
This game is especially popular among children as it encourages logical thinking, strategy, and fun competition.
🎨 Model Details
- Board size: approximately 10 × 18 cm
- Number of pieces: 1 fox + 3 hunters
- Material: PLA Basic (recommended)
- Filament: use different colors for the fox and hunters for better visibility
- Filament usage: approximately 92 g in total
- Support: only required when printing the hunter pieces; it can be removed very easily
🧩 Game Setup
- Place the game board on a flat surface.
- The fox places its piece in the center of the board.
- The hunter places three pieces on any of the surrounding positions.
- The fox always makes the first move.
🕹️ How to Play
- Players take turns making their moves.
- Each piece can move one step along a connected line (vertically, horizontally, or diagonally – depending on the board layout).
- The fox tries to escape the hunters’ trap, while the hunter aims to block the fox’s moves.
- When the fox can no longer move to any free space, the hunter shouts:
👉 “You’re roasted!” – and the game ends.

- Use different filament colors to clearly distinguish between the fox and hunter pieces.
