Description
**** I did not make this. I am publishing the profile I used for my model. ****
The Gorkabot is a massive armored mech, built as an effigy of a greenskin god! Armed to da teef da Gorkabot krushes all kind of ememys with it's klaw while shredding infantry with hails of bullets from the DAKKA-Storm gun.
In the Gorkabots belly is space for a few greenskins to pop out, if the time is good for some krumpin'!
FOR BEST QUALITY PRINT, PLEASE READ ALL(!) OF BELOW:
To print the Gorkabot, you need time or a resin printer ;-)
I REALLY recommend a layer high of 0.075 or lower for all parts to get the quality I intended.
Please see the pics, those are all printed in FDM (<=0,075mm)!
I tried to keep the need of tree supports low, but I highly recommend it to use them - make sure to set the tree support z-distance to a multiple of 2 (layer hight) for optimal removal (keep in mind: layer hight 0.05 to 0.075(!) )
-------- EXCEPTIONAL 'fings for this model: ----------
---------- COMPATIBILITY ----------
Arms and legs should be compatible to my Mega Bots (not testet)
---------- MAIN BODY ----------
"GorkaBot_Belly.stl" prints without tree support! Just use regular supports.
"GorkaBot_Torso.stl" prints without tree support! Just use regular supports. flip the model slightly to the back (see Cura screenshot)
The doors should be printed without supports with a brim (see Cura screenshot)
---------- LEGS ----------
The legs are unique, there is an individual model for the right / left leg. Those are mirrorable / interchangeable if you want.
---------- ARMS----------
The arms should fit 10x4mm magnets (not tested) but also have a ball joint for more posability...
The "GorkaBot_Klaw_Arm_02.stl" should be printed 45° "floating 1,5mm in the air" see my Cura screenshot - this will give you the best quality result!
---------- Over all printing recommendation! ----------
Many parts have a "flat surface" -> face those to the build plate.
Detaild sides / most visible sides should be faced towards the cooling fan.
---------- Assembly ----------
if you need instructions - just open all files in 3D Builder or e.g. Meshmixer. There you can look where they go
---------- FOLLOWING: ----------

If you do so, I HIGHLY APPRECIATE YOUR GENEROSITY :-) :-) :-)
Kind regards,
Tersus
