Water-soluble supports + 6-color PLA simplify the figure-making experience to: print, dissolve, finish.During production, to challenge multi-color details in a small size, I carefully adjusted every rivet, aiming to present all details in the slicing process.
【Water-Soluble Support (PVA) Printing Tips】Through multiple tests, please ensure the PTFE tube for PVA has a smooth bend angle as much as possible. Personally, after using the AMSHT for active feeding, I can achieve smooth printing. However, with passive feeding (printing while heating), the frequency of filament jam detection increases drastically. Therefore, under dry conditions, use the AMSHT or AMS2PRO for active feeding of PVA material whenever possible.
This model is designed for performance exploration, printed as a single piece without any splits. To ensure the multi-color version can replicate all details in a sufficiently small size, I carefully adjusted the dimensions of each screw to guarantee they can be printed during slicing.
Due to the fragile connection in multi-color printing—especially at the handle parts—soak the model in warm water for 12 hours or more when removing water-soluble supports, allowing them to melt naturally.
Don’t worry if any parts break; they usually separate at the multi-color joints and can be easily repaired with 502 glue or 9400 adhesive.
The base and character are fully compatible in size with my previous models.
