Vivaro/Primastar/Trafic Side Loading Door Handle

Handle for the side loading door on a Vauxhall Vivaro/Nissan Primastar/Renault Trafic 2001 - 2014.

Designed and printed for my brothers camper van, he didn't want to buy any specific hardware if possible so I designed it to use regular 4x30mm wood screws, shorter will do, these are just what I had, although the plug and washer parts are designed for 4mm screws.

The side door has 2 8mm square holes for mounting the handle, this is where the “plug” parts go, the “washer” parts should be a snug fit into the holes on the handle, you may need to clean up the holes on the handle by hand with an 8mm drill bit or a file. Screw the handle in place and the caps fit snugly over the washers to hide the screws.

I printed this in PETG with 4 walls and 99% infill, my first attempt I printed with 15% infill but it felt a bit flimsy, for something getting heavy use I'd rather be sure so re-printed it solid and obviously it feels much more sturdy so these are the settings I'd reccomend.

If you want to source the “proper” hardware for fitting I can easily modify the design to suit if you want to give me the diameter of the threads and the head of the screw that you intend to use.
