Description

Take you GoPro on the adventure and bring a Lily Pod along!

Tripod screw base: HERE

Lily Pod is tripod inspired by nature - by Lily petals unfolding. This tripod can be assembled without additional hardware - just with a piece of filament and some glue! Only hardware needed is for the GoPro mount with simple M5 nut and bolt.

You need to print base, three legs and three hinges.

Assembly as follows:

  1. Glue the hinges to the legs as you can see in the photo using your glue of choice (I used CA glue)
  2. After glue is dried place the leg in the base and thread a piece of filament through the hole in the base and the hinge.
  3. Make sure the filament is inserted all the way.
  4. Using side cutters vut the excess of the filament from the base.
  5. Put a drop of glue on the filament end to secure it.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 for the other legs.
  7. Insert M5 nut in the place (of the fit is too tight you can heat the nut)
  8. Done!
