Size compatibility - PLEASE READ BEFORE PRINTING

There are three print profiles for different sized spool cores:

Size M for spool cores featuring

• Outer diameter: 86.4 mm - 87.7 mm
• Inner diameter: 82.2 mm - 83.0 mm

Size M with thicker cardboard for spool cores featuring

• Outer diameter: 86.9 mm - 88.5 mm
• Inner diameter: 82.2 mm - 83.0 mm

Size L for spool cores featuring

• Outer diameter: 88.5 mm - 89.4 mm
• Inner diameter: 82.9 mm - 84 mm

The lid is compatible with both sizes and different sizes can be stacked with each other.

 

If your spool falls outside these ranges, feel free to let me know in the comments — I can create a size variation that fits your spool core.

 

General Advice:

Spool cores can vary slightly in diameter and thickness. This model is designed to fit the vast majority of Bambu Lab spool cores, but some may feel a bit looser than others. If needed, a small amount of glue can be used to secure the parts firmly in place.

Update v5 - Apr 6 2026:

• Added new size with diameter same as in size M, but for thicker card boards (up to ~3mm).
• No changes to other sizes.
