Temple Menorah - 9-Branch Hanukkah Candelabra
Bring a touch of timeless elegance and tradition into your home with this meticulously designed 9-branch Menorah. This model is a high-fidelity digital recreation of the classic Temple-style candelabra, featuring ornate, flowing structural supports and a sturdy, decorative tiered base with classical filigree.
Designed specifically for 3D printing, the model has been split into four manageable components: the main 9-cup branch assembly, the tapered neck, the ornate base, and a decorative trim frame. This allows for easier printing with minimal supports, the ability to print on smaller build plates, and the option to use different filament colors or materials for each section.
The cups are sized to fit standard Hanukkah candles, and the central Shamash (helper candle) is correctly elevated above the other eight, adhering to traditional design requirements.
This is a functional ritual object and home decor piece.
The 9-branched Menorah (or Hanukkiah) commemorates the miracle of the oil in the Second Temple of Jerusalem. While based on the ancient 7-branched Menorah depicted in the Arch of Titus, this 9-branch version is the symbol of the Festival of Lights. This specific design draws inspiration from Baroque and Neoclassical metalwork, focusing on the "tree of life" aesthetic where the branches appear to grow organically from the central pillar.
While designed as a Menorah, this model is a fantastic base for various creative projects:
