Description

This is a fully 3D-printed sliding tray designed to move smoothly forward and back with no additional hardware required. The entire mechanism is printed as part of the model — no bearings, screws, rails, or metal components needed.

Originally sized to hold a coffee maker, the tray can also be used for other countertop appliances or kitchen items that benefit from easy access while saving space.

Features

  • Fully 3D printed design
  • No hardware required
  • Smooth sliding motion
  • Space-saving pull-out access
  • Ideal for coffee makers and similar appliances
  • Prints as a complete functional assembly

⚙️ How It Works

This model prints as two main parts — a base and a sliding top tray — along with printed rollers and small axles that snap into place on the underside of the top tray.

After printing, the rollers are pressed onto the axles and snapped into the molded pockets beneath the tray. These rollers ride in printed channels in the base, allowing the tray to slide smoothly forward and back while staying properly aligned.

All movement is achieved using fully 3D-printed components. No screws, bearings, metal rods, or additional hardware are required. Once assembled, the tray functions as a compact, space-saving pull-out platform suitable for countertop appliances or other items that need easy access.

Notes

  • No post-processing required beyond normal cleanup
  • Scale as needed for different appliances

This model is ideal for anyone looking to improve countertop usability while keeping everything printable and simple.
