MakerBeam XL 15×15 Profile (Parametric Length)

Instructions

1. Use the Length slider on the left to set your desired extrusion length (in mm).
2. Click Generate to rebuild the model.
3. Download the generated STL.
4. Slice and print as usual.

This is a 3D-printable, MakerBeam XL–compatible 15×15 profile with a parametric length. It’s intended as a lightweight alternative to aluminum extrusion. I originally needed a custom-length extrusion as an alternative while building my BeamCase, and didn’t want to be limited to standard (and expensive) lengths. I made this to prototype without waiting on hardware. Useful for mockups and fixtures where aluminum would be overkill.
