Description

Here you can print a straight quick connector for 4mm PTFE tubing.

This model requires external accessories!

Two pneumatic press-fit fittings for 4mm tubing are required (type ECAS04).
Here or, if you need more, here.

I'm providing two versions.
The first version has an internal PTFE stop that prevents the tubing from being inserted past the center.
There is a potential risk that excessively curved filament could get stuck in the middle.
This could be remedied by countersinking the PTFE tubing.

With the second version, the tubing can be inserted past the center.
For the second version, ensure the PTFE tubes have straight cut edges to prevent the filament from getting stuck at the joint.
Ideally, use a tube cutter specifically designed for this purpose.

The fittings are difficult to crimp (the blue plastic part with the fitting). The best way is with pliers or a vise.

Note:
The quick connectors are NOT tested for pneumatic applications.
I recommend printing the quick connectors with PETG or higher-quality filament (ABS, ASA, PA).
