Description

This is a vertically-oriented open-frame PC case designed to function as both a structural chassis and a display mount. The frame geometry prioritizes rigidity, component accessibility, and unobstructed airflow.

 

The main body is built around a reinforced perimeter frame that supports the motherboard, GPU, and PSU along a central structural spine. The layout exposes all major components for easy installation, testing, and maintenance, making the design suitable for benchmarking rigs, showcase builds, or modular prototyping setups.

 

Component mounting is standardized around common PC hardware spacing and fastener conventions. The motherboard tray follows standard ATX mounting hole alignment. The GPU area is positioned to support horizontal presentation with adequate spacing for cooling and cabling. The PSU sits at the lower rear section of the frame to help stabilize the center of gravity and reduce tipping risk.

 

The open geometry allows passive airflow around all components, while the frame includes surfaces where optional fan or radiator brackets can be added without interrupting the structural profile. The exposed layout keeps thermals hardware-dependent rather than enclosure-dependent, making the case suitable for air-cooled and custom-cooled configurations. 

 

The design is intended to be assembled from multiple printed segments, with joining sections placed along low-stress regions of the frame. Flat base contact surfaces and reinforcement opportunities are included to improve stability, especially for taller builds or heavier GPUs. There is a channel in the back of the Halo for an RGB LED strip.

 

There are holes in some of the parts that have a diameter of 3.95mm, they are sized for M3 heat set inserts with corresponding holes in the mating parts with a diameter of 3.20mm for M3 bolts and holes at 5.40mm for the bolt's head to fit flush with the surface of the part. The motherboard mounting parts are the same way, but instead of individual holes, they are continuous channels so you can adjust them to fit any motherboard. You can also use M3 nuts in those channels.

 

This case is primarily intended for users who want an experimental or display-focused chassis, rather than a traditional enclosed PC case. It emphasizes structure, accessibility, and presentation over noise isolation or dust control.
