Elmer's Glue Stick Precision Tips

These are precision glue stick tips designed to fit the Elmer's School Glue Sticks with the soft purple glue. There are various shapes including two round tips with 3 and 6 mm openings, an 8 x 2 mm oval tip and an 8 x 1 mm slot tip.  These tips allow more precise placement of the glue for art and hobby activities. These were designed and tested on Elmer's brand 6g tubes. I believe the Elmer's 7g tubes have the same size top, but I did not have one for testing.

Filament Selection:

These glue sticks are water based, so it is strongly recommended to avoid the use of PLA for this model and use a more water stable filament such as PETG, ABS, or ASA.

PLEASE READ - Tip Fit Adjustments:

These tips need to fit fairly tightly on the glue stick to prevent glue from squeezing out at the joint. Tolerances vary depending on printer, filament, conditions, etc., so even though the uploaded print profiles work for my printer and filament combination, slight size adjustments may be needed for your specific setup. If the tips are too tight or too loose on the glue stick, adjust the x and y scale by a small amount. I recommend starting with 1% and adjusting from there, if needed.
