Description
A collection of old wattle and daub farm houses from northern Germany. Based on real world houses in Lower Saxonia and Schleswig-Holstein. They will make a nice display on dioramas, model railroads or in RPG.
The houses have the typical style of old farm houses from northern Germany, where people and animals were housed under one large roof, often reed-covered. The front part - with more windows and the chimney - held the living quarters, the rear part - larger, with a very low roof and few windows - was for animals and fodder.
Today, these houses are no longer practical for modern farming and have been converted to other uses - apartments, museums and others. The interiors have been converted and new windows and doors have been added. You will see this in some of the models.
The houses are designed in 1:300 scale, but I recommend to print in larger scale, otherwise the details will be lost. I have printed in 1:200 scale (150% factor) and that looks fine.
I have included the STL files as well as colored .3MF files. All houses will require 4 colors and many, many filament changes if you print the .3MF files.
