Star Trek: Enterprise NCC-1701-D #10356 Wall Mount

Needed a Wall mount for me L*go Star Trek Enterprise but was a bit concered for the weight of it!

Designed a 2-part print, the main “fingers” that hold the model are printed for maximum layer strength and the other part for best quality and compressinal stregth (screws into the wall). i used 5.5mm diameter M4 heat press inserts and M4 20mm (could be shorter) bolts to hold the “finger” part in place. but you could get away without the inserts. i didnt use the exact parts in the BoM, but they should work!

I printed in PLA Tough+ and also have done one in PET-CF both have been good for a week, so far!

But use this at your own risk!!! its a heavy model and 3D prints have their limits.

P.S no mount for the shuttle craft… i just used double sided 3M tape…
