Propeller Compatibility
This spinner is designed to be versatile and works perfectly with:
- Stock FMS 10x5 Propeller
- uxcell/gemfan 10x5 Propeller: My personal preference for this aircraft. If you choose to use the uxcell/gemfan propeller, I have included two custom hole adapters in the files to ensure a perfect, centered fit on the shaft.
Printing Recommendations
This model is compatible with most 3D printable materials. For the best balance of weight and durability, I recommend printing with ASA,
- Filament Choice: ASA PETG, or Tough PLA.
- Orientation: Print with spinner with the flat base on the build plate. Print the Hex Nut Shaft Collar with the hex side and the square corner flat on the build plate. Orienting the part this way ensures the layer lines provide the torsional stiffness required to tighten the propeller securely without the collar stripping or breaking.
