Description
I couldn't find any hook models that worked for my wire rack, so I decided to create my own. Apparently my wire rack isn't the standard one, so make sure your rack dimensions match the model and below description.
Rough Dimensions
This hook clips on nice and snug and is printed in separate pieces to allow for optimal strength in all directions on all pieces. Printing as one piece would require supports and would impact quality and strength.
Simple clip the top clip over the wires (be sure to clip the more aggressively curved side first) and then slide the hook over and onto the clip. This fit should be very snug and the hook will NOT move freely forward/backward, but should move with some force. This was done in case heavy objects are hung onto the hook.
This hook holds plenty of weight, enough that I would be more worried about the rack mounts. I highly encourage printing in PETG, but PLA may be fine.
NOTE - You can save about 3 minutes by disabling ironing. I like the finish with the provided settings though.
Hopefully this helps someone :)
