Description

I have added the print profile for the big version with coin slot. The coin slot is highly recommended, because there is a lot of air moving when you move the cover. The full size version prints very well.
I´m sorry that the last print profile was the 50% Version Bambu deleted the “standard” print profile of the big box because i forgot to add a picture of the printed Box.

I wanted to create a bigger - longer lasting - labytinth box, without using the typical generated mazes.
There is also a 50% version added as seperate printing file. (mazebox_50proz_adjusted), this might be too small / not durable enough. better to use the big one and scale it down a few %. …. best is to print the big one  directly…

My aim was to craft a maze that would endure, adorned with unique features while maintaining a moderate level of challenge.

In particular, I incorporated circular elements and snail-like sections to aid navigation within the intricate pathways of the maze.

Solving this maze is an engaging task, taking even the most adept puzzlers around 5 minutes to unlock its secrets, without encountering any frustrating dead ends. While there are a couple of longer dead ends, most are brief, ensuring a smooth journey through the labyrinth. Moreover, the design ensures that the inner workings of the structure are revealed early on, only to be cleverly concealed again as one delves deeper into its depths.

I've crafted these mazes with the intention of keeping my parents' minds sharp, offering them a stimulating alternative to activities like Sudoku.

This creation comes in three distinct cover versions: a standard one and another featuring a coin-opening to serve as a safe.

The “thick” version should be able to scale down to 50%. But i haven't tested the tolerances.

With approximately 10 hours of printing time and utilizing 350g of PLA, the end result is a sizable labyrinth box measuring 10x15cm, providing ample space for exploration and enjoyment.
