Working Helldivers 2 AC-8 Autocannon For Dummy 13

I don’t play Helldivers 2, but I vibe with the whole Democracy thing. 
And what else can deliver Democracy better then the AC-8 Autocannon?

WEAPON INFORMATION

The AC-8 Autocannon is an automatic Anti-Material Rifle that can fire both 20mm APHET and Flak rounds. It holds 10 20mm rounds in a fixed circular magazine, which is fed via 5-round stripper clips.

 

Unfortunately, you can not load 10 rounds into this gun due to the size constraints. You can only load up to 7 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber. 

 

Also feeding and chambering the rounds is not reliable if you're doing it through the magazine, if you only care about the shell ejecting and not the chambering, then you should just manually put the bullet in.

PRINTING

Printed at 0.16 layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle with tree supports. I recommend pouring semi-hot water over the supports to aid with the removal.

Printed in PLA, but I recommend using DRY PETG for the toggle lock parts.

IMPORTANT! REQUIRES ONE 7MM FILAMENT STUB

EVEN MORE IMPORTANT!! REQUIRES A LOT OF SANDING AND POST PROCESSING TO WORK SMOOTHLY!

 PLEASE DO THAT BEFORE COMPLAINING IN THE COMMENT SECTION!

Don't have sandpaper? Just rub it really hard on any surface, and the friction should smoothen things out.

Spaghetti/Warping: Clean your build plate, apply glue.

Stringing: Dry your filament

If you have the problems listed above, and rate my print profile with a 1 or 2 star, then I will laugh at you. Don’t rate my profile with a bad rating if it’s your printers or filaments fault!

 

Toggle lock joint won’t connect/hard to connect: Sand down the nubs.

Parts don’t work smoothly/hard to move: Sand the parts that rub against each other.

Bullets fall out easily: Resize bullets by around 102% or to your preference.

Not shell ejecting/jams: Sand down every part that touch each other. Make sure the bullet fits between the 2 ejection guides; Also make sure the joint is slightly angled up, instead of being straight. If it still doesn’t work, put the bullet in backwards.

This is my first ever exclusive model, and I hope you like it :)
 

Boost MeI really hope you like this model, it took me quite some time to plan and design it. I think this may be the first ever dummy 13 gun with a shell ejecting feature (not counting guns where you have to manually remove shells), or a toggle lock mechanism for that matter. As for future models, I’m thinking about maybe designing tanks for dummy 13. I think I’ll start with a Panzer II Light Tank, and work my way up to bigger tanks. Idk though, so don’t get your hopes up too much.
