Euro-Like Coins for Play & Learning

This project is a set of toy Euro coins designed for children, educational purposes, and playful learning of basic money handling.
The coins are not exact replicas of real Euro coins on purpouse, while still preserving the familiar size, shape, and color combinations of Euro coins.

Each coin is provided also as a separate 3MF file, making it easy to print only the denominations you want.

🪙 Coin Design Details

• Size & proportions:
  - The coins are modeled to closely match the real-world dimensions of Euro coins, helping children learn relative sizes and values.

• Edge details:
  - Each coin features distinct edge patterns, inspired by real coins

  - The 20 cent coin includes the characteristic “Spanish flower” edge pattern, making it easy to identify by touch

• Front side

  Clear embossed denomination numbers (10, 20, 50, etc.) optimized for clean printing with a 0.4 mm nozzle

• Back side

  Simple, clean design with engraved stars - no supports required

🖨️ Printing Recommendations

• Works perfectly with a 0.4 mm nozzle, fine details print reliably.
• No supports needed
• 0.2 mm layer height works great
• Use silk filaments to enhance the coin-like appearance
  - silk Silver filament for the silver-colored parts
  - silk Sand filament for the gold-colored parts
• AMS required
