This is a custom-designed Flight Data Recorder (Black Box) model, created for educational, display, and aviation-related projects.
The model is designed to be:
- Modular and easy to print
- Suitable for students and aviation enthusiasts
- Ideal as a desk display, teaching aid, or project prop
Features
- Multi-part design for easier printing and assembly
- Clean geometry optimized for FDM printers
- Can be printed in single or multi-color
- Scalable to different sizes
- Cut / separated print files included for easier printing
Assembly
- Some small parts require glue (e.g., super glue or B7000) for bonding
- Light sanding may help for better fit and finish
Recommended Print Settings
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: 15–20%
- Supports: Only if needed (depending on orientation)
- Material: PLA or PETG
