This is a set of Magnetic Bookbinding Corner Jigs (L-shape) designed to help crafters and bookbinders achieve perfect alignment and consistent margins in their projects. These jigs are essential for creating professional-looking book covers and boxes.
Hardware Required:
- Magnets: Round Neodymium Magnets - 15x2mm.
Printing Instructions:
- Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS.
- Pause for Magnet: Insert a pause command in your slicer at the layer before the magnet cavity is closed.
- Pro Tip (Glue): I personally recommend adding a tiny drop of super glue (Cyanoacrylate) directly to the bottom of the magnet before inserting it into the cavity. This ensures the magnet stays securely in place and prevents it from jumping or flipping when the printer resumes, especially if the print head has metal parts.
- Polarity Warning: Double-check the magnet polarity before inserting! Make sure they are oriented correctly for your specific magnetic workspace.
- Walls/Infill: 3 walls and 15-20% infill for durability.
