Travel Sax 2 Stand

This is a  Travel Sax 2 stand.  This is a totally different design as my other one but uses the same cradle with quite a few modifications.  There are a few notes that make assembling this easy.

1st - It uses m4 x 16 or 20's bolts,  4 of them.

It also uses m4 nuts as well that fit into the nut sleeves you are printing.  The sleeves go into the top of each arm for the feet.

2nd - On the axles as well as the cradle, there are small holes for attaching the axle to the cradle.  Its the small little dot pictured here on the axle.  This can  be drilled for a filament piece to push through or drilled to a 7/64 drill and the small little round pieces can be used to push through, if not using filament.  Attached is a photo of how they go using the 7/64 drill and the small round pieces pictured.

These are the little posts that will fit in the 7/64 holes.  

And this is what it looks like assembled…

The “gear bar holder” that holds the cradle in the up position, locks when the feet arms are widened out.  It will unlock when the feet are closed and spin around.  I have added a little washer that goes between the nut and the arm which I printed just to add a little more friction between the bar and the nut.  Your mileage may vary and you can use it or not.

I have also added photos that compare the size of this travel version to the other version I made.

There is a png file attached in the photos that I hope can be downloaded and used on a cricut machine to cut 1/16 foam rubber for the pads in the cradle and on the bottom of the feet.
