Description
This is an enclosure for the Arducam 1080p Day/Night USB camera . I needed to make a baby monitor for someone and had a raspi zero 2 and arducam to get started . Here’s an enclosure that uses (4) 16mm M2 screws and heat inserts. My board was not drilled symmetrical so your holes may align slightly different. I found this out on my second build and just adjusted my heat insert placement accordingly so check your alignment with the camera board on the front case to verify. I printed with .6 mm nozzle using PLA-CF , I’m sure .4mm nozzle would be even smoother but this finished nicely . No supports if oriented correctly . 25% infill min
To access the camera remotely on the network I used RealVNC server on a raspberrypi 2 Zero and use the realVNC client on phone to access the camera anywhere within the home LAN signal range. I’m sure you can boost it to access from anywhere. But this is good enough for our purpose.
I aim to add a mount but if you do , cool, thank you ahead of time :)
Pretty simple build. There’s few back plate models , one for plain and one for logo of
“Camera Diaz” and “ J Kat 3”
Cheers
