HeroScape Tournament Box

The HeroScape Tournament Box carries everything you need to play in a HeroScape tournament or game day, including figures (deep version only), dice, order markers, wound markers, and sleeved cards.

 

The HeroScape Tournament Box consists of three basic parts: 

• The Lid (holds all items in the component tray in place)

• The Component Tray (holds 24 14mm D6 dice, 2 regular size D20 dice, wound markers, and order markers)

  • The Lid and Component Tray can be replaced with 2 Player versions, which have room for 2 sets of order markers at the expense of wound marker space. Lid and Component tray do need to match.
  • The Lid and Component Tray can be replaced with Valkyrie Dice versions, which accommodate the larger (16mm) Valkyrie dice. The dice spaces in the Valkyrie Dice Component Tray (12) version fits all dice that came with a flag bearer (12), and the (10) version fits all dice in a set of the newly released dice by Renegade, such as the Revna dice.
  • The Lid and Component Tray can be replaced with the Mixed Dice versions, that accommodate one set of 16mm Valkyrie dice (either 10 or 12) and one set of standard white 14mm HeroScape dice.

  Important: the lid and component tray always go together. Do not try to mix & match, it won't work.

• The Card Tray (holds cards in CD sleeves)
  • The Card Tray can be replaced by the Deep Card Tray
    • The Deep Card Tray can fit the optional Figure Tray. 

The Card Tray and Figure Tray can be used as a small dice tray to roll dice in. Lining with felt makes this even nicer.

You do not need magnets, glue, or any other additional components for this design, and everything prints without supports. The lid clicks in place and holds the trays and components securely in place. The only things loose (but still contained in their compartment) are figures on the figure tray, and wound markers.

 

Frequently Asked Questions:

• I don't have an AMS

  There are two versions of the lids, one with a flush logo for printing with a Bambu AMS or similar system, and one without a logo. You don't need an AMS to print the box without the logo.

• What sleeves fit this box?

  Heroscape Card Sleeves that fit this box can be found here. I have been buying these sleeves since 2009, so they've been around and hopefully will be around for a long time. Other sleeves may fit too, as long as they measure no more than 130mm (5.11") in any direction.

• Will all figures fit?

  No. Large figures and smaller will fit, but if you have too many that may be an issue. Some Huge figures will fit too, but many do not.

• Will Valkyrie dice fit?

  Yes, in the Valkyrie Dice and the Mixed versions.

• Can you make a 2 player version for Valkyrie dice?

  No. There just isn't enough room.

• What do you use those regular D6es for, the non-heroscape ones with the pips?

  I find it easy to keep track of wounds with a D6.

• So then why do you still carry wound markers around?

  I need them for my Heroscape Wound Clips on multi-life figures. Duh. ;)
