Compact Cable Reel Set V2 – Cable-Safe Locking

An upgraded version of the compact cable reel, redesigned to securely store cables without damaging their insulation.

Unlike traditional cable clips that constantly squeeze the cable jacket, this version features a mechanical locking system that keeps the cable in place without excessive pressure.

Perfect for organizing charging cables, USB, Type-C, Lightning, HDMI, and other small electronic cables.

🧩 Smart 4-Part Construction

Each reel consists of:

• 2 main interlocking body halves
• Lower rotating locking ring (secures cable start)
• Upper rotating locking disc (secures cable end)

All parts snap together securely and form a compact, durable unit.

🔒 Dual Locking System (Cable-Safe Design)

Bottom Lock (Cable Start)

The cable enters the side wall of the reel and is secured by a rotating internal ring, preventing it from slipping out while avoiding constant compression.

Top Lock (Cable End)

The outer side features a split rotating disc with precision slots.
Once the cable is inserted, the disc rotates and locks it in place using a small retention tab.

This design:

• Prevents cable damage
• Eliminates forced bending
• Reduces wear on insulation
• Keeps cables firmly secured

📏 Capacity & Sizes

Designed for cables up to 4 mm diameter.

Available in four optimized sizes:

• 0.5 m
• 1 m
• 1.5 m
• 2 m

Capacity is calculated for 4 mm cable diameter.
Thinner cables (3–3.5 mm) may allow significantly longer lengths.

🎨 Dual-Color Friendly Design

The reel was designed for two-color printing:

• Upper half + bottom lock (accent color)
• Lower half + top lock (contrast color)

This creates a modern, premium look — especially ideal for multi-material systems like AMS.

Each reel includes engraved size markings indicating:

• Cable length
