Portafilter Dosing Funnel 54mm

I bought a dosing funnel that took up internal space on the portafilter basket - no good. So this is the solution for my 54mm portafilter. The issue with an internal wall the extends into the basket is it creates pockets on the outside of the basket for channelling. Previously, I would grind, pour into the basket with a dosing funnel, WDT, remove the funnel (with internal walls), WDT again to fill the outside gaps, make a mess, tamp, extract.

 

With this design there are no pockets/voids on the outside wall of the basket once you remove the dosing funnel - use this, pull better.

 

The best part, a little prawn on the side.
