Description
This case holds 15 days worth of AcuVue Oasys Max 1-day contact lenses. The lenses go in upside down. The case has “bumps” so that even incomplete strips of lenses stay right where they're supposed to. Nothing slides all over the place.
To try and make sure you can find the right lens while not being able to see too well, lenses for your left eye are in the case in one way, and lenses for your right eye the other way. Also, the inside of the lid tells in large big letters which lenses are for which eye.
There is a version of the case with cuts that fit the prescription that is on one of the tabs on a box of lenses. Just cut the tab on the fold, and right above the colored band (see photo) and it fits right in the designated slot. There are two slots, one on each side, one for each eye. There is also a version without these slots, if that's what you prefer.
In the 3mf file there's various versions for only logo, only Left/Right text, or no logo or text at all. Just print the one you prefer. All versions print in less than 4 hours and with less than 136g of filament.
The case does not require assembly, as the hinges prints in place and just “magically” work when you take the case of the build plate. No supports are needed either. The case has been prepared for four 5mmx2mm disc magnets, but you don't need to install those, the clasp is strong enough by itself (I do not install magnets in my own cases).
