Corviknight #823:

"This Pokémon reigns supreme in the skies of the Galar region. The black luster of its steel body could drive terror into the heart of any foe." ~Sword Version Pokedex Entry

This flapping Corviknight model uses the same flapping mechanism as my Skarmory/Mega model but this time with some added improvements:

-Requires less filament to print

-Wider range of motion

-Looser tolerances inside the gear housing allowing for resistance-free flapping

-Wings are detachable, allowing the model to take a "flying" form or "resting" form depending on how the wings are connected (Note: wiggling the wings helps with pushing in the Gear Pegs)

The only non-printed part of the model is a single compression spring (5mm × 0.4mm ×15-25mm, OD × thickness ×length) that forces the wings downward after a flap. This piece is optional though, gravity will return the wings to the downward position as long as the model is upright. The legs also hinge for "flight". Corviknight's blue/black/metallic/glossy main color was tricky to pin down but I found that Sunlu's Blue+Black Dual Matte PLA and Tinmorry's Iron Black Silk PLA looked pretty good. And then I used Bambu Lab's Nardo Gray PLA, Matte Charcoal PLA, and Red PLA for the remaining colors.

Corviknight is hands down one of the best pokemon in Galar and I hope you enjoy printing, building, and flying this one!
