Multiple Size Black Snap-Fit Eyes For Chunky Yarn

Give your handmade plushies the perfect finishing touch with these snap-fit eyes! Designed for easy installation, these eyes securely lock into place using a simple press-fit backing with no glue required. I used PLA for both the eyes and backs. I have provided multiple build plates with eye diameters ranging from ½ inch diameter to 1.2 inch diameter. There is a solid eye print profile and also a print profile that includes white dots to give them more character. These eyes are ideal for crochet, sewing, and plush projects. The included backings are designed to grip fabric tightly, helping the eyes stay securely in place during use. 

 

The posts are larger than normal which are perfect for chunky yarn although you can still use them on yarns down to size 4 with a large enough hook. The solid eyes are modeled on Mr. Goose in the images and he was made with size 4 yarn. I used a pattern developed by DreamStitchPatterns on Etsy if you want to make the same goose! The eyes with dots are modeled on Sniffles the cat in the images and she was made with size 6 chunky yarn and a size 5 hook. The pattern for her was created by TheWonderCrochet (not affiliated) and is for sale on Etsy if you'd like to make your own kitty cat. 

 

The backings of these eyes are small and could cause choking. Do not allow children under 3 to play with them and it is not recommend to use on stuffies that will be gifted to children under 3. While all of my prints have shown to be very secure, I cannot guarantee perfect fitment across all printers and settings!
