Got a friend with a sweet tooth? Time to teach them a lesson about taking candy without asking!

This cleverly disguised "Sweets" box looks like a harmless container for your favorite treats. But slide the lid open, and instead of a sugar rush, the victim gets a fright! A hidden mechanism causes a creepy creature to leap right at their fingers.

Perfect for office desks, coffee tables, or Halloween pranks.

This design features an interchangeable scare mechanism. The initial release includes the classic jumping spider, but keep an eye out! Over the next few days, I will be releasing alternative "scare" inserts (think snakes, roaches, and more) that you can easily swap into this same box.

How it works:

The magic is in the design. No metal springs or rubber bands are required! The box uses a fully 3D-printed, curved flexible arm attached to the sliding lid. As the lid is pulled back, the arm compresses against the edge of the box, forcing the loaded creature to pop up instantly.

• Interchangeable Scares: The launching mechanism is designed to be compatible with various creatures. Start with the included spider, and swap it out for other options as they are released.
• Multi-Color Friendly: Designed with clear sections (box, lid, text, creature) so you can easily swap colors to make the "Sweets" label pop and the surprise look extra menacing.

Printing Recommendations:

Material: PLA works great for the box and lid. For the flexible arm (and interchangeable creatures), PETG is highly recommended as it offers better flexibility and longevity without snapping, but PLA will work for a good while!
Infill: Not to care about, because everything is thin.
Supports: In the printfile are the supports provided for best looking box prints, but I also printed one of the boxes without supports, just in the orientation you use it. It worked, you just have to remove some loose filament at the overhangs.
Assembly: Simply put the lid into the grooves of the main box by bending it a little bit, ensuring the eyelet is over the edge. Hang in the flexible arm. Insert your chosen creature into the launch mechanism. Leave it on a table, and wait for your first victim! Do not glue the creatures, because for really greedy people ther is a chance for jumping on the hand!
