BoxRFID-Touch Case – Standalone RFID Reader/Writer for QIDI Box Tags

This case is designed for BoxRFID-Touch, a standalone RFID/NFC reader and writer for QIDI Box RFID tags.

BoxRFID-Touch is based on an ESP32-2432S028R CYD and a PN532 RFID module. It allows you to read and write QIDI Box filament tags directly on the device via touchscreen — without needing a PC during normal use.
Supported functions include reading tags in manual or auto mode and writing manufacturer, filament type and color to compatible tags.

The project is intended as a compact and practical DIY solution for makers who want a dedicated hardware tool for handling QIDI Box RFID tags.

Print Information

A ready-to-print 3MF file for the QIDI Plus 4 is available for download.

The top and bottom parts of the case are also provided separately as STL files.

The case is prepared for multicolor printing and can be painted easily in QIDI Studio:

• use the Paint function
• enable Fill
• enable Edge Detection
• move the mouse slowly over the surface of the case
• color the areas that are highlighted with a white outline
