Carbon Rods Cleaner for Bambu Lab Printers

Bambu Lab recommends thoroughly cleaning carbon rods with isopropyl alcohol frequently as a maintenance step. But reaching both rods inside printer and cleaning them with fat fingers like mine can be tricky. Also, it's always a chore to keep printers maintained and most users like me simply get tired of doing it and avoid doing this until they start getting print issues.

With this cleaner, now you can clean both rods at the same time by moving the extruder left and right. Attaching the tool to rods is extremely easy as the tool uses magnets to attach and align itself properly.

Printing

Print ONE “Connector”, ONE "Back L", ONE “Back R” and TWO “Front” pieces.
Please do not use filaments that interact with Isopropyl Alcohol and instead simply use any old scrap PLA filament. You really do not need strength or beauty for such gadgets.

Assembly

Use picture provided as assembly guide. The tool uses four 6x3 magnets and non-abrasive kitchen sponge.

Attaching to Carbon Rods and Use

Soak sponge with Isopropyl Alcohol.
Next, hold the back pieces around extruder on the back side and connect both front pieces with magnets.
Now, simply move extruder left and right multiple times either by hand or from control panel.
