Description
The famous children's story and then a 2-6 player family game, HUMPTY DUMPTY- Brick Game was originally published in 1971 and again in 2009. Build the wall, place Humpty on top, and carefully remove bricks without making him fall. Players take turns sliding bricks out of the wall using the special glove push-sticks. One wrong move can send Humpty tumbling! The player whose move causes Humpty Dumpty to fall loses the round.
GAME COMPONENTS
The HUMPTY DUMPTY Brick Game - Bookcase Edition set includes 45 Bricks, a 2-part Interlocking Wall Stand, 2 Glove Push Sticks, a 10 piece Humpty Dumpty and a Bookcase Edition storage box. WARNING: Contains small parts. Not suitable for children under 4 years of age.
BOOKCASE EDITION BOX
The HUMPTY DUMPTY Brick Game - Bookcase Edition game includes a Bookcase Edition box with a slide top. This bookcase edition box can be stored on a shelf with your other matching bookcase edition games. The box includes storage areas for the all the game pieces.
To store the parts, assemble Humpty Dumpty and place him in the storage area, store the 2 hand push stick in the recess area, assemble the wall stand and place in the box, then add all the bricks to the box. The lid should now slide over all of the game pieces, keeping them in securely in place.
INFORMATION & ASSEMBLY
All parts were printed with PLA filament, matt or flat colored PLA filaments work best for bookcase edition games. I use a textured plate for adhesion. Some parts will need to be superglued, for example, the book spine is glued to the square cornered side of the bookcase box. A little bit of oil on the edges of the lid will help with the slide into the box top.
The Brick Wall Stand is in 2 parts - base and outer wall. These two parts may be glued together or assembled during game play.
Humpty Dumpty contains 10 parts, some are small. I decided to glue the small parts (eyes and nose) in place and allowed the remaining parts (hat, head, mid section, bow tie, base, and 2 hands) for assembly during game play. By not gluing all of Humpty Dumpty's larger pieces together, this will allow them to fall apart during game play when Humpty Dumpty has a great fall.
MAGNETIC HUMPTY DUMPTY (Alternative)
A second print profile entitled “MAGNETIC HUMPTY DUMPTY” replaces the Humpty Dumpty parts on plate 1 of the original print profile. Use this profile instead of the pin connections used in the original Humpty Dumpty print profile. This profile requires 16 - R5x2mm magnets.
