Boost MeThank you. Hope you like it!
I designed this stylish and functional firewood rack because I couldn’t find a perfect solution for my fireplace. It is a modular, sturdy, and easy-to-assemble storage system that looks minimalistic and modern.
Important: Hardware
To assemble this rack, you will need:
- 8x Universal Screws (3.5 X 30 mm).
Printing
The model is divided into logical parts for easier printing:
- Semicircles: You need to print 2 of each (4 pieces total) to form the main frame.
- Base and Support: This includes 4 legs and 3 bars.
- Bars Length: I have provided two options for the bars depending on your firewood size:
- 140 mm length bars for firewood 140mm and longer.
- 170 mm bars (use these if you have longer wood).
- Note: You only need to print one set of bars.
Assembly
- Holes: The screw holes are 3.1 mm for a tight, secure fit with 3.5 mm screws. The top of the holes is wider to allow the screw heads to sit flush with the surface.
- Depth: Holes are slightly deeper than 30 mm to prevent the screw from bottoming out and damaging the plastic.
My Settings
- Filament: Sunlu PETG.
- Walls: 5 loops
- Infill: Gyroid
- Speed: Reduced for better PETG layer adhesion.
- Supports: Minimal (Only required for the screw head recesses).
Note
This rack has been tested with standard firewood and is very stable. However, I have not tested it with extremely heavy, dense logs, so please use caution if loading it to its maximum capacity.
