Description
Create a fully personalised keychain or fridge magnet with the name or word of your choice. Everything is configurable directly from the MakerWorld Customizer — no 3D modelling knowledge required. The outline of the piece automatically adapts to the shape of the letters.
Update — Font selector
The font selector has been completely reworked. Instead of choosing from a limited dropdown list, you can now browse and select any font directly from MakerWorld's full font library — over 8,000 fonts organized by category, just like Google Fonts. Simply click the font field in the Customizer to explore all available options.

Added two print tolerance parameters (letter_clearance and hole_clearance) for a perfect base + text fit. The recess in the base is slightly enlarged so the letters snap in without forcing, and the closed holes in letters (B, D, O, P...) are slightly reduced for a cleaner result. Adjust to match your printer's tolerances.
Single-piece print — the easiest option If you don't need two colors, print in Full preview mode with a single filament. This is the most reliable method, with no risk of misalignment or warping. The text will stand out in relief on the base, cleanly and solidly.
2-color print For a two-color result, the piece is split into two snap-fit parts:
You can print both colors using an AMS / MMU system, or with a filament change pause. Both parts are designed to fit together perfectly.
Letter thickness Some fonts generate very thin strokes that may be smaller than your nozzle diameter. If letters disappear or print poorly:
Layer height and relief The relief height must be a multiple of your layer height. With 0.2 mm layers, the recommended minimum is 0.6 mm (3 layers). Below this, letters may not print correctly or may be fragile.
Exporting text separately — caution required If you export the letters separately (Text only mode), your printer must be well-calibrated. Very small or thin letters can warp, detach from the bed, or fail to print at all. If this happens, increase the text size and relief height, or opt for a single-piece print instead.
Magnet pocket Measure your magnet with a calliper before printing. Two important rules:
Suspension hole Position the hole within the border around the letters. The automatic border around the hole ensures there is always enough material, even if the hole extends slightly beyond the outline. A 3 mm diameter (1.5 mm radius) fits most standard keyring rings.
Mechanical strength For a keychain intended for daily use, minimum recommendations:
File tested and ready to print. Any feedback or suggestions are welcome.
