• Premium Textures: Give your keychain a unique look with Ribbed, Hexagon, Grid, or Dotted patterns directly on the base surface.
• Dual Text Support: Need a sub-line? You can now add an extra line of text above the main name (perfect for "Mr Alex," "Class 6B," or dates).
• Precision Control: Easily move the keyring hole to balance your specific word length.
• Raised Border Option: Add a sleek, defined border to your keychain for a premium feel.
• Layer Swap Ready: Designed so the text is on top. You can print this in two colors even without an AMS by adding a pause at the layer height specified in the print profile.

 

🖨️ Print Settings:

• Material: PLA / PETG / ABS / ASA (Everything should work even TPU)
• Colors: Use a dark color for the Base and a light color for the Text/Border (High Contrast).
• Layer Height: 0.20mm is fine but layer looks better
• Infill: I would recommend 100% to make it durable but 15% gyroid works fine.
• Top Surface: Enable Ironing for that premium, smooth look on the text.

 

🧠 Behind the Design (For Makers & Moderators)

To ensure maximum customizablity and a premium tactile feel, this is not a standard flat 2D STL, but a structurally advanced parametric generator. The underlying OpenSCAD algorithm dynamically calculates complex bounding geometry to generate a continuous base, automatically balancing the keyring hole for any single or dual-line text combination. Instead of simple flat planes, the code mathematically generates intricate 3D-relief textures (like hexagons and ribs) directly into the surface, which significantly increases the structural rigidity and grip of the tag. Optional raised borders and precise text offsets are computationally framed to fit the exact customized dimensions of the user's chosen words. Finally, all Z-axis layer heights are mathematically optimized for Z-height layer-pause mechanics, enabling flawless multicolor FDM printing even without an AMS.
