Lay-z-spa Descaler with drain remix

This is a remix of the Lay-Z-Spa Descaler by Kaczo (https://makerworld.com/en/models/503170-bestway-lay-z-spa-pump-descaler-tester?from=search#profileId-1394344)

 

Significantly modified by adding a drain on the rear and included a threaded plug to be printed for it. The plug requires an allen key. And would probably benefit from using some plumbers tape such as ptfe to put on the threads.

 

Removed the internal threads on the pump connections as they are not required.

 

Reduced overall volume, internally measures 30mmx65mmx235mm approx.

 

Improved lid design from the original, but still not perfect, it still weeps water a bit when the pump is running.

 

The pictures are from my first revision where i added a round drain socket, i have changed this to a hex in the newest revision as the print quality for the round socket was terrible.
