Expandable Circle Cutting Jig for Router – Large Diameter & Multi-Router Compatible

 

 

 

This expandable jig allows you to cut large diameter circles using a trim router.
Thanks to the T-track system, it can also be used to refine and correct existing circles (for example, truing the edges of wooden clocks or similar round objects).

Components & Assembly

 

 

The jig is composed of:

• router base plate
• end piece
• 2 extensions

The extensions can be printed as needed, making the system virtually infinitely expandable.

Rotation System

Rotation is achieved through a central pivot, fixed with a Ø3 mm wood screw, allowing smooth movement along the T-track and enabling precise circular cuts.

After use, the pivot and screw can be conveniently stored inside the handle with threaded cap.

 

 

 

Safety

Always follow the cutting direction indicated by the arrows on the plate.

Do not move in the opposite direction risk of router kickback.

Hardware Required

• 2x M4 button head screws (12 mm) – plate assembly
• 1x M6 hex bolt (45 mm) – T-track + upper handle
• 1x M6 hex bolt (any length) – T-track + lower knob
• M6 nuts

Printing

• Printable in PLA and PETG or more.
• PETG recommended for better bed adhesion and reduced warping
