Quick, Compact & Safe Travel Case for DJI Mini 4 Pro 🎒🗺️
As an avid traveler, I designed this case to solve a personal frustration: wasting precious time—and making my travel buddies wait—while fumbling with zippers and multiple bags just to get my DJI Mini 4 Pro in the air. I needed a true grab-and-go solution. This fully 3D-printed travel case is the result. It keeps your drone, RC, ND filters, and Fly More accessories perfectly secure, organized, and ready to deploy in seconds.
Compatibility Note: > Want to try this case with another model, like the Mini 3 Pro or the Mini 5 Pro? Feel free to test it out! If the dimensions are slightly off, let me know in the comments and I'd be happy to modify the design to fit. Pro Tip: If your drone is just slightly smaller than the Mini 4 Pro, the easiest quick fix is simply scaling up the Z-axis of the corresponding TPU padding in your slicer!
Key Features:
99% 3D Printed: No magnets, screws, or extra hardware required. Print and assemble!
* A drop of glue or double sided tape is used to secure the TPU padding to their spots.
Complete Storage: Fits the DJI Mini 4 Pro, controller, spare props, cables, SD cards, and features a dedicated slot for an ND filter case.
Two-Tier Organization: A bottom compartment for long accessories (props, screwdrivers) hidden under the controller, and a top "square" compartment for cables and SD cards.
TPU Shock Absorption: Custom TPU padding inserts prevent components from shifting and rubbing during long hikes or bumpy travels, providing premium shock resistance.
Quick-Connect Clip Mechanism: An intuitive built-in latch ensures a lightning-fast and secure opening and closing experience.
Handle: Minimalist and print-in-place design to enable easy carrying.
Printing Guidelines & Materials:
Top Part (Lid) - CRITICAL: Highly recommended to use PETG, ABS, or PLA Tough+. The integrated quick-connect clip requires a bit of flex to function durably without breaking. Standard PLA may be too brittle over time.
Bottom Part: Can be printed in any standard material (PLA, PETG, etc.).
It is recommended to use a compatible material for multi-color printing if you want the top text color to match the bottom's color
Padding: Must be printed in TPU for the shock-absorbing properties.
Profiles Provided: I have included print profiles for AMS users, non-AMS users, and a specific profile dedicated to the TPU pads.
