Description
Keep your countertops clean and your spoon right where you need it! This incredibly functional Lid-Knob Spoon Holder snaps directly onto the central knob of your pot or pan lid, gracefully suspending your cooking spoon perfectly centered over the glass. Any sauce or condensation simply drips right back into the pot where it belongs!
Every lid and spoon is different, and this OpenSCAD file lets you tune it to yours perfectly!
| Parameter | What It Does |
|---|---|
| knob_neck_diameter | The thickness of the plastic/metal "stem" beneath your lid's knob (Typical: 12–20mm). |
| knob_clearance_height | Measure the vertical air gap between your glass lid and the top grip. This defines the thickness of the horizontal C-clip so it doesn't wobble. |
| spoon_diameter | The thickness of your cooking spoon's handle (Typical: 8–20mm). |
| arm_reach | Distance from the center of the knob to the center of your spoon. Increase this to keep your spoon further away from the knob. |
| gripper_spread | Space between the two U-shaped claws. Wider spreads hold long spoons more securely! |
[!CAUTION] DO NOT USE PLA. Glass pot lids act as a seal for boiling water and steam. During active cooking, the lid and the surrounding air will easily exceed 80°C. Standard PLA turns to putty around 60°C and will instantly warp or melt onto your hot cookware.
| Setting | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Material | PETG, ASA, or ABS. High-temperature resistance is absolutely mandatory for a pot lid. |

| Perimeters | 3–4 Walls. The flex tension of the snapping C-clip relies on solid outer perimeters. |
| Infill | 30% Gyroid or Grid. |
| Supports | None Needed! |
