Version 2 (Remix) of the original child safety lock.
The middle section is just 2 - 0.2mm layers which makes it quite flexible while still strong against horizontal pull force.
Key Improvements:
- 90-Degree Bracket: Creates a tidier look and makes the buckle easier to close. It also extends the life of the belt by preventing it from bending back and forth.
- Two-Part Modular Base: You can now replace the belt without peeling the adhesive off your furniture. This design also aligns the belt height perfectly with the buckle and bracket.
Printing & Handling:
- Material: Works well in both PLA and PETG. (Note: The pictured model was printed in PETG).
- Caution: The thin middle section can be fragile when removing it from the build plate. Avoid twisting it.
