Skywatcher 200p / Quattro 8" / Lacerta dew shield

Dew shield that fits the following scopes:

Skywatcher 200p / Quattro 8"/ Lacerta 200/800 (pre-2021) 

It is suitable for fast scopes as this dew shield does not taper to the end.

I printed it with my bambu lab H2s, using sunlu petg-cf. It's a snug fit; although, i added holes for M5 threaded inserts to be on the safe side.

I recommend to print this piece from ASA Aero to cut weight in half (petg-cf print is ~500g, asa aero would be ~250g).

Make sure to flock or paint the internals to reduce reflections.

wall thickness → 2mm

scope_to_dewShield_overlap → 25mm

height → 240mm

internal_diameter_of_ota → 222mm

outer_diameter_of_ota → 240mm
