🌀 Cyclone Dust Separator 120 mm (for Bucket Vacuum)

Description:

This project is a compact and efficient cyclone dust separator designed for use with a standard bucket and vacuum cleaner.
The cyclone has a 120 mm diameter, providing strong airflow and effective separation of dust, chips, and debris before they reach your vacuum.

Perfect for workshops, garages, and DIY setups — especially for sanding, 3D printing cleanup, or woodworking.

🔧 Required parts:

• 🪣 Bucket (recommended: 10–20L, standard plastic bucket)
• 🔩 4× M6 bolts
• 🔩 4× M6 nuts
• (optional) washers for better sealing
• (optional) silicone sealant for airtight assembly

⚙️ Assembly:

1. Cut a hole in the bucket lid to match the cyclone base.
2. Place the cyclone on top of the lid.
3. Secure it using 4× M6 bolts and nuts.
4. Seal connections if needed for better suction.
5. Connect inlet and outlet hoses.

🧩 TPU Gasket (Important)

The project includes a dedicated gasket/washer file designed to be printed in flexible material like TPU.

🔹 This part is placed between the cyclone and the bucket lid, as well as around the bolts and nuts.
🔹 It significantly improves airtight sealing and prevents dust leakage during operation.

⚠️ Note:

You can print the gasket in PLA or PETG, but TPU is strongly recommended for proper sealing.
