Printer Cabinet Reinforcement Set
I made this reinforcement set to make my printer cabinet stronger and more stable. Since the cabinet carries multiple 3D printers, filament, tools, and other supplies, I wanted to reduce flex and give the structure some extra support without having to rebuild the whole cabinet.
This set includes two types of brackets:
Front Corner Bracket
Designed to reinforce the front inside corners of the cabinet and help stiffen the frame where the cabinet is most likely to move or flex.
Back Wall Corner Bracket
Designed to reinforce the back corners by connecting the side panel, back wall, and top/bottom structure more securely.
For my own cabinet, I used 8 front corner brackets and 8 back wall corner brackets in total. This gave the cabinet a much more solid feel and made it better suited for supporting my 3D printing setup. it curently does not flex by use of the printers and only with a lot of effort manually
The parts are designed to be practical and easy to print. I made them with cheaper, strong everyday PETG, so you do not need expensive engineering filament to get a useful result. Of course, you can also print them in stronger or more expensive materials if your setup needs extra strength.
