Description
If you want to never forget your grinder settings again (which dial setting works best for which roast) - I made something for you! Its a clip with an integrated space for labeling which attaches directly to your coffee bean bags (or zip-lock bags or whatever) and displays a 3-digit number plus decimal point (at least in my base config) — so you always know how to dial in your grinder for every coffee you own (hopefully).
The character plates are fully interchangeable (and customizable), meaning you can swap digits whenever you switch beans. I included the numbers 0-9 as well as a half plate with a decimal point and some blanks.
If you like switching coffee beans and try a new roast every now and then you probably know the struggle of keeping track which roast hast which grinder setting - but no more of this!
The clip is flexible and supports multiple plate / inlay thingy layouts:
Blank plates are included for fully custom labels. (use Bambu Studio Text tool with 0.3mm depth)
There's also a small hole on the bottom of the clip — if a plate ever gets stuck, just push it out from below with a toothpick or a piece of filament.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Plate | Cool Plate Super Tack |
| Nozzle | 0.4 mm |
| Supports | ✅ Required |
| Print in Place | ✅ Yes |
| AMS Needed | ✅ Only for labels |
⚠️ Build Plate: Be aware, I have used the Cool Plate Super Tack which makes it easy to print small pieces without loosing adhesion. If you use the normal plate you might wanna change the orientation or add some brims!
⚠️ Support Removal Tip: Be gentle when removing supports! Take your time around the clip mechanism — rushing it can tear off the clip. A pair of flush cutters or tweezers helps a lot.
If you print this, please leave a like and share a make — it genuinely helps and means a lot! 🙏 Happy brewing! ☕
