Description

Update!! I have modeled a mat holder that is specifically for this deck box. See the second to last photo. You can find it linked here.

A 4 Commander deck box with storage.

There is a compartment that has lots of storage for all the tokens, dice, and all the other stuff you use instead of what you should to keep track of your board state.

Make sure the lid parts don't warp when printing, it will make the mechanism not work. The orientation of the parts have been chosen to allow the lid to slide easy. Make sure to get all support material out of the insert slot and be careful when removing supports from around the rubber band posts in the lid. If you break them and the lid mechanism wont work.

There are two different base cases, one with a solid handle and one that moves. I cut both of them of them to fit the standard print size. Sadly the original model is for the larger print beds.

For the handle that moves, you will need qty 2x 20mm M3 screws and qty 2x M3 nuts.

The lid has a mechanism that is driven by rubber bands. The ones I modeled it for are linked here.

When inserting the rubber band, double up a single band and insert it into the slot and slide the lid insert back. Ensure that the band has properly looped on both parts of the lid. Once the insert is pushed all the way in, press the the handle into the to the lid insert. Look at the last video for a video guide.

If you enjoy the model, please consider liking and boosting the model. I would really appreciate it!

Happy printing!
